Ev'rybody had a hard year?
Ev'rybody had a good time?
Ev'rybody had a wet dream?
Ev'rybody saw the sunshine?
Ev'rybody had a good year?
Ev'rybody let their hair down?
Ev'rybody pulled their socks up?
Ev'rybody put their foot down?
If you answered Yes to number one, but you had at least two other
Yes's, you had a good year. Who are we to argue with The Beatles?
If you had a bad year. Let It Be.
The World Is At Your Command in 2010.
Namaste!
I don't know what you mean by hard? That's open to more than one
interpretation. :-)
I had an easy year.
> Ev'rybody had a good time?
I did!

No comment. Too personal.
> Ev'rybody saw the sunshine?
Yup!
> Ev'rybody had a good year?
A great year!

I'm blessed. I hope 2010 is so good to me and my loved ones.
Cute thread.

Three times ...and countin...
No. Due to the fact that The Greed Twins want a slice of the pie every
time their name gets mentioned.
I liked this - original and appropriate. I'd have to say pretty much
"yes" to all of the above (although it makes you think that "socks up"
is a pretty empty filler line, John should have come up with something
else there, all the other phrases are great and work together really
nicely, but - pull your socks up?) I have to do a little mental and
emotional stretching to come up with "yes" for "had a good year," but
it had some definite highs even though the last stretch has been kind
of disastrous for me, and I'm known for being an optimist. But I
certainly had occassion to see the sun shine, let my hair down, etc.
I might have even put the fool down once or twice.

In this newsgroup, that's almost inevitable. The opportunities to do so
are nearly infinite.
