Didn't she fund it after his death?

Maybe a concert in Central Park to organize a trust fund to keep it in

Yoko's poetry sucks. A greeting card would be more interesting and
original.

Would anyone be reading this stuff or visiting her myspace page if she
had not married John? C'mon.

The Teflon Widow sure knows how to milk her situation.

I AM a caring person. I care about John.

You know she's phoney . . . you've suggested so yourself.

Yes, I know. The problem is too much time is spent on "The Widow."
It should be about John and the people who truly loved him like his
sons and May.

I just noticed something I had not before after looking at
this photo: John himself said his nose was so big he
could almost stick cotton wool up inside. His nose
doesn't look that big in this picture. Did he have surgery?

Not that I know of. Certainly not nose reduction surgery.

However, you should see a profile picture . . . .

This particular photo is quite flattering. His face looks nicely
filled out and round. But I've seen other pictures from late 1980
where he looks very thin, and his ears and nose are quite prominant.

I've seen one or two interesting computer generated photos which
imagine what John would look like. The photos gave him a receding
hairline and gray hair with traces of red in it.

He'd probably have a slightly larger nose and ears because a person's
nose and ears keep growing.

It was very realistic looking.

You are so full of shit I can't believe you haven't exploded by now.
You don't know how "G-d" will feel about you letting up on bashing a
76-year old widow? Oh, you think "G-d" wants you continue your

Just because someone is a 76 year old widow does not mean they are a
good person.

There was a case in NYC recently where an elderly man was convicted of
stealing from his demented, rich high society mother (can't recall the
names of the people right now; I'm tired). Yes, his mother died and
he became an orphan. But he was still convicted of stealing. There
are good sons and bad sons. Good orphans and bad orphans.

I was thinking of Brooke Astor and her son.

So, her son is a good person because . . . . . because . . . . he was
Astor's son and now he's an orphan. And we should pity him.

Right?

He cannot be criticized, cannot be subject to scrutiny, and should not
have been arrested and convicted, right?

I don't know what abe-i-lah signifies. So, whatever insult was
intended is lost on me.
You said you would "bite your tongue" (as if there were something you
could possibly say that you haven't said a thousand times before), but
you didn't. It was one of those "I'll stop spouting shit....BUT..."
posts. And then you added more. If you wanted to stop you'd just stop.
But you don't. You wrap your "respectful silence" in the pretense of
doing it for somebody else's benefit - BPJimmy's, whoever...for one
day...but then you'll pick up again where you left off tomorrow.
That's bullshit. Either you respect someone's point of view or you
don't.

> As far as G-d, Jimmy brought HIM up, not I. I was merely responding.
> Why does that bother you?

Jimmy said God would love you for letting up on Yoko. That was in the
spirit of forgiveness, peace and reconcilation. You responded by
saying "I don't know how G-d will feel about it" as though God shares
your vendetta against Yoko. I assume you feel that "H-" does.

It's not an insult . . . it just means "abe, dear" or "dear abe".
Like "mamacita" in Spanish.

Actually, I've been quite good, so far.

What I don't understand is I said I'd bite my tongue, and that is
exactly when you pop in to provoke.

All this Yoko bashing, I guess you guys knew better than JL what he
needed in this life.

And carping about Yoko having more boyfriends? Lennon has been dead 29
years. And if I recall correctly, while alive he was often an errant
spouse.

I am less interested in Yoko and her odd art than I once was, but I
did appreciate it a bit all those years ago, in part to understand
what appealed to Lennon.

But fixating on her and ranting every time her name comes up is truly
negative. And if there's one thing John Lennon put on the record a
zillion times it was "get off her case".

So I respect his wishes on that important message he kept delivering,
until the day he died.

I just wanted to mention that if anyone here lives in the NYC area or is
making a trip to the Dakota/Central Park to honor John this week, you
might consider also taking a free ferry ride over to Staten Island this
Friday. Only a few blocks from the ferry terminal, there will be a
concert performance in tribute to John Lennon at Every Thing Goes Book
Cafe, 208 Bay Street, (718) 447-8256. Free admission. No mention of
what time it begins, so check with them first. I just saw this in the
paper, but unfortunately, I won't be able to go. I figured I'd let you
guys know in case anyone is interested.

Just thinking about that warm, late fall evening, 29 years ago,
tonight. No matter how much time passes, the pain of losing John will
never fade away. As much as I want to celebrate his life, every year on
this date it's overshadowed by the violent, unnecessary manner in which
his life was taken.

Rest in peace, my love, and enjoy making music among the stars.

Oh yes, lovely quilted thingies and so on. Surprising how nostalgic I
get when working with the fabric, downright sappy even.

At the last crafts fair I had one person literally SHRIEK when she saw

friends back. I now have to replenish my Beatles thingies - and

Actually other than the fact that I'm pissed off that Lennon is dead,
I'm pretty depressed that it was *29* years ago!!!

IMO I would say no. I think the size of his nose really varied with
the camera angles. There were some camera angles partially from the
side where his nose did look quite large, but it was not so bad from
the front.

I respect your beliefs Fatts. Too many people today do not have an
attitude of gratitude. If a person is wealthy they may say "Gee I only
have a BMW, I need a better car than that because my neighbor has a
Rolls." So many people take their eyesight, their vision, their good
health, the fact that they can think and talk and reason, and whatever
material possessions they have for granted. Yes, we all have so many
gifts, and if a person believes that God exists and is responsible for
all these gifts then that is just fine. If someone else wants to
believe that God does not exist that is up to them.

Your words are not logical at all. Do you believe God hates or loves
you? That is up to you. There is no need to start a debate on
something like this. However your attitude is hate filled and not
necessary.

C'mon...both you and Fatty enjoy antagonizing a few of the posters

YOKO ONO. She transfers that hatred to others. You enable her. By her

No. I don't hate her.

And, BTW, I recall discussing this before during the past few years

much more serious.

I agree. This statement describes your attitude to a *T*. You should
have it checked.

I don't like/dislike liver. If liver were *on topic* I still wouldn't
post everyday...incessantly...about my "dislike" of liver. It's
boring, tiresome, and antagonizing. And the only way you can get
attention. Do YOU snuggle with anyone? If not, I would suggest
investigating that option.

She was asked (not by me) to prove God loves her. Her answer was a
list of "blessings" : health, home, food, etc. I simply asked her
this: if she didn't have one or any of those things; if she were sick,
or homeless, or hungy - does that mean God does not love her? Because
her answer would suggest that. How is that hate-filled, please???

It was if I want her to bugger off. We had words before, and that
should have been enough - but it's her warped personality (and it is
warped) that drived her to have the last word. She has very definite
delusions of superiority, and from what I've gathered in the few weeks
I've been here, she's a geunine paranoid schizophrenic.

No hate though. I don't hate. I dislike. Hate destroys.

And you have no principles except, "let's harrass her whenever we can
and call her nasty names.

Is your name-calling any more innocuous than mine?

Hypocrite.

You know what even sadder? That a content-less post like this gets 5-
star ratings from 5 users. Surprise!!

I doubt that Jimmy's friend, May, would appreciate his rmb posts
defending Yoko.

So why don't you let her tell him, if she's his friend, rather than
telling him on your half-assed behalf, Mr. "Insider"?
