Cool! Where did that come from?

Looks like it was circa late 1969... George appears to be wearing his "mad
day out" striped pants.

From the back of one of Frank's albums. 69 I believe (I think we just
covered this a week or so ago...)

Ah, okay. When did Frank cover "Something"? He did cover it, didn't he?

The question was asked and answered a few weeks ago. The photo is from
November '68, taken at a Sinatra recording session in L.A. Before "Something"
was written.

Oh yeah, I know. I found that thread and learned the picture is from the
"Cycles" album.

I'm asking now if and when Sinatra actually covered "Something"... just
'cause it got me thinking about it. I've tried to research it on the web and
have failed to turn anything up so far.

Thanks! Wow, cool... so he didn't waste any time getting to it.

Makes me laugh thinking that Paul had tried to get Sinatra to do "Suicide"
not long before. ;3)

He recorded it twice. The better version, with a Nelson Riddle arrangement, is
from December 3, 1979. That's the one with the "Stick around, Jack" line.
