Good song, just heard it again for the first time in years. But what's up with the voice (accent?) he sings in? Is it some kind of homage to a singer I don't recognize? He has done tributes to other singers before, to Elvis and Fats Domino IIRC.

This song is absolutely one of my favorites from Paul. Not sure who (or if) he was trying to conjure somebody up though. McCartney, man of many voices. The video is fantastical too. Here's a "rehearsal" video...https://youtu.be/7xM7vq40cOU
