256kbps).

what do you think? are this mp3 really the remastered cds?

Yup, it's real. If these things sound this good as mp3--we're in for a
real treat. I posted earlier about which cd I should sample--this
convinced me to buy the box.

My initial reaction to THESE mp3's in particular - Comparing apples
to apples, the pre '66 songs don't sound as bright and full as say the
Beatles E.P. Box Set. However the later tracks sound much more
detailed remastered than the standard 1986 CDs.

i listen to rubber soul, revolver and sgt pepper. in these mp3s all
sounds bright and clear, except for the bass and drums on rubber soul,
not sure but i hear those 2 instruments at a lower level comparing
with the others.
