Ah, and it's true. But who knows his middle name? Certainly not I,
nor do I know George's name!

Here's a teaser for you, Douglas. What was Paul McCartney's middle name?
Hint: I gaurantee you've heard it.

Yes, his real name is Richard Starkey. I have never heard a
middle name for him.

Ahhh the fun of helping new fans...Yes it's true Ringos real name is
Richard Starkey..also Paul is not Paul's first name either..it is his
middle name..James is his first. Also John Lennon was born John Winston
Lennon and changed it after marrying Yoko to John Ono Lennon.
And as far as I can tell..George name is simply George Harrison..I can find
no reference to a middle name.

Well, the answer to this is simple- if you happened to watch the
Anthology, when it is showing the baby pics of the fabs, it also gives
their full names and alas, George and Ringo (Ritchie!) don't have middle
names....

Hey , do you know his first name? ;-)

It's George Harold Harrison, named after his dad.

You misspelt "Your mother should know".

Tiny people who are friends of Thomas The Tank Engine know the real

If you listen in the video of Magical Mystery Tour, they refer in the
beginning to him as a 'Mr. Richard B. Starkey'. I know not what the
B is for ..

Ringo changed his name to Ringo because he had worn rings on every finger
; He changed his last name to Starr because it is just short for Starkey

He shortened it to starr so his drum solos in Rory Storm and the
Hurricanes could be called "Starr Time." Has more of a *ring* to it than
Starrkey time, don't you think?

But Ringo didn't _like_ drum solos! Ringo probably had a solo singing
spot in Rory Storm's Hurricanes just like he did later on in the Beatles.
Either way, it would still be "Starr Time" when his turn at the mic came
along.
