Thinking of Mister Charlie, he has many alter egos which have no purpose
in alt.comp.freeware other than to fool the reader into thinking they are
not connected with him.
You mentioned hiding from stalkers. Mister Charlie posts openly in ACF
and in other groups, so he's not exactly trying to hide himself from
stalkers.
In Mister Charlie's case I go further than you in your definitions and
state he's using sock puppets. A sock puppet is a poster who pretends to
be unconnected to its master and that is what was have got a lot of. I
suspect rec.music.beatles has a lot more of it.

Naw, not hiding, RMB has been a fukken shithouse for a decade. The
originals like me (Marek), Jon Nance, most of Mister Charlie's sockies,
FranciePants Schwartz, etc etc........most left. Nancy is still there as
is Charlie's etals.
What fukken happened was what I refused to let happen to my two
newsgruppes Tull and Led Zep. When the Meow assholes and the alt.kooks
came (Dan "magnum" Camper), Oneidus Mad Hatter, blah blah....they killed
RMB. Mister Charlie became a Great Troll Hunter (nyuk) later morphed
into his "good guy" routine, trying to put back his absolute st00pidity
trying to out-troll a band of trolls. He got his ass kicked off to be
fukken blunt.
Which is why Dan magnus claims Mr. Charlie is a "good guy", a bunch of
fukken shit is all that it is. They both wanted to stick around RMB
which is a haughty little clique of priques if there ever was one.

Incorrectly, oh fukken Hell no, he has/had more names and aliases than
John Corliss has whiny, wimp=assed threats.
Naw, Nance fell in love, or as I used to say, fell in fukk, with a girl
troll named Ariel, she spent most of her time on aml-zeppelin. They
crossed the continent to fukk one another, move in and whale on RMB.

Anywhose, RMB got to be 250 - 500 posts of inane bullshit and when the

Hello w, it's useful to get some insight. That goes some way to
explaining Mister Charlie's attitude. And explains a bit about the way
rec.music.beatles seems to work. Somewhere in all the murkiness I saw
when I browsed the postings were some rather good Beatles postings!
Charlie is clearly trolling and sockpuppeting but he maintains it's
perfectly all right and even manages to rechristen his activities as
good. He so completely eliminates his more inconvenient activities from
his own memory that he can't remember ever being involved in them.
This whole interaction and justification seems kind of like a cop
completely unnecessarily striking a civilian with a night stick and as
far as he's concerned it's ok. When the civilian hits back at the same
cop with a similar night stick then its an offense.
You know a lot of the history. Today RMB sounds likes it's a free for
all punch up. But haven't some alliances survived? If you don't mind me
asking, what was your part in all this?

I'm not sure what makes you feel it still needs straightening out. You
know, not clear why or where you started from. Got a feeling there
might just be some sort of small personal angle.
And I suspect you've not really finished. I'd guess this ACF/BBB bit
we've seen is perhaps just a part of a whole. If you're able to and
it's not too much trouble, can you say where this is heading.

This is a little different. BB/BBB has to be who he is otherwise the
disinform carries no weight. What prolly happened to BB/BBB is that his
handlers saw the publicity and called his dog off. Once exposed, you're
spoilt, potentially ruined.
Time resolves these problems for BB, he may go somewhere, return (if he
does, he will always be subject to this interrogatory, his history of
the Kokaine Thug he is permanently sealed and easily re-upped when
necessary) or they may kcik him to the back of a closet. Don't care, he
