I can think of two relatively recent television series:
"The Wonder Years" (1988-1993) (Joe Cocker's version of "With a Little
Help from My Friends)
"Life Goes On" (1989-1993) ("Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da" performed by ??).
Any more?

"Grace Under Fire" used to use "Lady Madonna" performed by Aretha
Franklin (I think) but does not use that song anymore.

Well, Points Of View on BBC1 had a shite version of When I'm 64 as it's

"Grace under Fire" for awhile used Lady Madonna sung by Arthea Franklin (I
believe it was her)
