What movies or television series NOT about or featuring the Beatles have
used their songs as the "theme" song (played over the closing/opening
credits, at least)?

I can think of two relatively recent television series:

"The Wonder Years" (1988-1993) (Joe Cocker's version of "With a Little
Help from My Friends)

"Life Goes On" (1989-1993) ("Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da" performed by ??).

Any more?

Guru Dave.

"Grace Under Fire" used to use "Lady Madonna" performed by Aretha
Franklin (I think) but does not use that song anymore.

Well, Points Of View on BBC1 had a shite version of When I'm 64 as it's
tune years ago, but I don't suppose many US people will have seen that.

I believe that Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) featured "Twist and Shout."

Haven't seen this one mentioned yet:

"All This and World War II"

I can think of lots of solo stuff off the top of my head:

Spies Like Us
Live and Let Die
An Unmarried Woman
Time Bandits
Lethal Weapon II
Caveman
Jerry Maguire
The Family Way
Wonderwall
