Should Paul retire?

We all know that Paul McCartney is the hardest working and most
successful entertainer of all time. At what point (if any) should he
retire from concerts? Should he retire while he still "has it" or
should he keep going until . . . . . forever?

Let him be happy, be healthy, even if he is in some retirement home
somewhere. The man should do what drives him and makes him happy.

Great artists don't retire. Even Fats Domino is still rockin'.
Maybe "fade away". But once you're in the spotlight, it may dim a
bit but doesn't burn out until you do.

didn't billy joel state he was through with pop.....will focus on
classical from now on?. there are lots of different musical avenues
one can take besides touring, etc.

And 16 years later, Billy's put out exactly ONE album of classical
compositions, and toured numerous times playing his rock hits.

continue trying to please audiences if he has to sing while lying down.

As I said, great artists fade away; they don't retire.
Fats is 81 and in poor health. He still makes rare appearances,

Sorry, didn't mean to sound bellicose in my previous post.
I think great artists perform until they drop. Then they probably
retire, but you never really hear about it.
