The big news was the Beatles reunion. The partial Beatles reunion in hell
of John Lennon and George Harrison. The two together for the first time in
20 years are said to swear off music forever and instead they will ponder
why their faith in Eastern mysticism landed them not in Nirvana, but in
hell. But then again when Harrison saw Kurt Kubain there he thought 'Hey
maybe this is Nirvana!'
And thanks to a United Methodist news correspondent on the scene, we have a
report of the first words spoken by Harrison when he saw Lennon in hell.
This is what he said "Hey John do you remember when you said what you said
to that reporter 35 years ago? Remember it was 1966 and you said that the
Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ. Remember you said that. Well
you know seeing so many of our fans down here among the masses you may well
have been right but I really feel that is was a bad idea to brag about it."
Yeah. I'd say so!
However George Harrison and John Lennon will be remembered not for their
deaths but for their lives. While on earth. These Beatles produced the song
"All You Need is Love" and then they broke up.
Right, so I guess it didn't work
All You need is Love......and then they broke up. [Enyart keeps repeating
this great pearl of wisdom that he has found.....seemingly unaware that the
song was recorded in 1969 and the band didn't break up until 1970]
That is their great legacy....the failure of their anti-Christian world
view
4 mins 30 secs
We have teenagers in the studio audience this evening. I asked them earlier
"who is George Harrison?" They DIDN'T know!
13 mins
Didn't he (John Lennon) write the song 'Imagine'?
"Imagine there's no hell below us"
Well hey George and John, you guys got that right! Right now there ain't
hell below you. You are right in the middle of it!
"Imagine there is no hell below us" John Lennon wrote. He got that right.
He's in the middle of it! [Enyart seemingly feels the need to repeat his
punchlines]
And there in hell today, we have a Beatles reunion.....a partial reunion of
John Lennon and George Harrison annoucing that they are out of the music
business forever....and they are too.
God tells us that there is no music in hell. There is no music in hell. Now
how could that be? How could God stop then from making music if they want
to make it? Well I guess if God creates hell in such a way that sound waves
cannot propogate, then it doesn't matter what they wanna do, they can't
make music cause if sound waves don't propogate, then there's no music.
Well there we have it.

To avoid confusion you should make sure that your own words don't get mixed
up with Enyart's words.

Good point.
I have only added the approx times and a couple of points which I made
(both in brackets) to the transcript.
I was typing too fast and typed 1969 instead of 1967 (for my comment re All
You Need is Love)
The repost dealt with that typo.
Er, I wonder what exactly was anti-Christian about the "All You Need is
Love"/Beatles world-view!? Enyhart is the one who seems anti-Christian (ie.
hatelful) to me.-laura

Enyart is a moron.
Check out this story
(So much for WWJD?):
Denver Post, Colorado, 10 April 1999
Enyart handed jail term in stepson's beating
By Kieran Nicholson
Denver Post Staff Writer
April 10 - Denver Christian radio talk-show host Bob Enyart was handcuffed in a
Jefferson County courtroom Friday and led to jail to begin serving a 60-day
sentence for beating his stepson with a belt.
Enyart was convicted in 1995 of misdemeanor child abuse resulting in injury for
inflicting bruises, welts and broken skin on the buttocks of his stepson,
Stephen, who was 7 at the time. The misdemeanor case took two trials in
Jefferson County and almost five years to play out.
"It's been a very long process, it's been very hard on Stephen," said John
Mayns, the boy's father and custodial parent. Through the lengthy process,
Enyart claimed that he did nothing wrong, saying in 1997 that "taking a boy to
the woodshed" was once "politically correct." Enyart did not address the court
Friday. But Mayns said the discipline was more than a mere spanking.
"He did not spank him, he beat him," Mayns said. The beating with a belt, for
which Enyart was sentenced to jail, happened in the boy's mother's Arvada home.
Enyart disciplined Stephen, at the behest of the boy's mother, Cheryl, for
refusing to take a shower. The couple was dating at the time, but was not yet
married. He was also accused of beating his stepson another time on a camping
trip in El Paso County but was later acquitted.
Cheryl Enyart declined comment as she left the courthouse Friday. Mayns said
his son is now just starting to recover from the incident. Stephen and his
older brother, Anthony, 17, both see their mother but Enyart has been ordered
by the court to stay away from the boys. Enyart, wearing a black T-shirt that
said "Judge Rightly is not some guy's name," was at ease in the courtroom prior
to starting his jail term. He held his toddler daughter in his lap. Enyart was
fined $1,498, which he must pay within 30 days of finishing the jail term. He
is on one-year probation and must also complete a parenting class and a mental
health evaluation as part of the sentence.
<I wonder if Jesus would've beat his kids given the chance?>
Laura, I took three hours to download this radio show of Enyarts. The guy
comes across as err, how can I say this, a bit thicko. He obviously has a
few wisdoms thought out beforehand and then he keeps repeating them on air.
Either he and/or his audience is/are stupid and needs the repeats to ram
the punchline home.
The All You Need is Love punchline was that they wrote this song of love
and then they broke up (ie so much for the love they preached). Enyart
doesn't lets the facts (ie the song was recorded in 1967 and the band broke
up in 1969) stand in the road of a good yarn.
I would LOVE to put a call into his show! Just love it!

So does Bob Enyart broadcast out of Denver or Kern County California?
I think I'm beginning to understand why no news outlets seem to have picked up
this story. Read this article By Enyart (at least the first few paragraphs of
it):
http://www.enyart.com/writings/nicer.html
Here is his site.

Apparently Enyart already has a big audience (according to his claims at
least). My guess is he was hoping his comments about George would bring him
notoriety and perhaps increase his market share. Even if half of his audience
hates his guts they are still counted in the market share. Writing articles
about him will probably just increase the size of his audience. I imagine any
magazine that looked into the story became aware of that. Maybe that's why they
didn't cover it. They didn't want to give Enyart free advertizing.
I hate to admit it but it might be best to just ignore him. Anything else
might only increase the ratings for his show.
that was my thinking too....ie he feeds on controversy.
Sad to see such extremists are allowed to use public radio outlets.

Yup, and they ought to be kicked off of the government sponsored stations.

I would suspect that this is where one might find an achilles heel, if it
exists, of this extremist.
