I hope you don't mind me asking you this question: Why
do you talk about people you don't like?

Sometimes a subject is interesting, even if we don't like it. If I
read about someone being diagnosed with cancer, I may discuss the
situation or discuss cancer even though I don't like it.

Hard to believe he was sycophantic. He told Tom Hanks he looked Chinese.
I wonder if people have seen the Dick Cavett shows with John and Yoko
from 1971 and 1972.

That's not the same thing, Fatt. He's announced so many times
how much he dislikes Yoko, and then he starts a thread about
her being on TV. That's promoting her. Makes no sense.

Yes it does Jeff..this is a Beatles "News" group whatever my thoughts on YO are..well it's irrelevant..I am posting up information for the group to digest and to know about..it's pretty obvious what I think about YO..but that is besides the point..I'm not "starting a thread about YO" I'm just letting folk know that she was on The JR tv thing the other night..so if folk wanna try and watch it on I-player then they can try and see it online or whatever...stop trying to create arguments.

Danny, you started 2 threads about Yoko. The first one was this one
last night. The
second one was about an hour ago. We're not dummies. The 2 threads can
be seen
by anyone.

I'm just letting folk know that she was on The JR tv thing the other
night..so if folk wanna try and watch it on I-player then they can try

What arguments? I asked you nicely if you would mind answering the
question
about Yoko. You ignored that one and responded to the post where I
responded
to Fatt. I wasn't even talking to you so you can't say I'm starting an
argument.
Jeez.

"the fabulous Yoko Ono"

Ugh, to use the word "fabulous" with her. Really the Beatles should
have gotten a patent on that word
She seems hard of hearing as she is being interviewed.

It shows you how she has worked so hard to restore her reputation on
various internet sites like wikipedia to maintain her legend. The
crowd cheers her but how many random people in the street would
really say "wow, Yoko, what a great singer?"
And when asked how she maintains her youthful look heaven forbid she
should mention any cosmetic procedures or dyeing her hair.
Paul had the integrity at least to admit he dyes his hair.

She says people stopped her and John in street when John was her
date. But the fans only asked John about his musical projects.
Because of sexism.

That's all I had.
You can get Dick Cavett on DVD now.

Yes, that's right , it is 'always' sexism or racism rather than
"John was one of most famous and loved musicians in the world".
When he died and there were TV, radio, and magazine specials all
around the world for him in death, do you think Yoko realized then
how well liked he was?
People IIRC were in the Central Park West area all the time singing
his songs for days, keeping her up at night. Well for Yoko, it is
'me, me pay attention to me"
