Hi All, I'm wondering whether anyone here might have some info on or
experience with this book. I'd like to get it for my brother who is a huge
Beatles fan( and an ex-musician) but the website has been saying that it is
"temporarily out of stock" for some time now. Is it out of print, and if so,
can anyone suggest a place to find 2nd hand copies? (if in fact its worth
buying).
TIA for any help or suggestions.

Here's the website http://www.recordingthebeatles.com/

Go here: http://www.curvebender.com/recordingthebeatlesdeluxeedition.aspx

It says that new shipment of books arrives next month.

I have the book. It's large and heavy. It has great pictures and
lots of very interesting tidbits. It also has a lot of very techincal
information, which can be hard to get through, or perhaps just the
thing your brother may like.

i know someone here has the book, maybe jeff or nil, can't remember.
i'd like to have it, i have seen some reviews, pics and scans of it,
and it looks like a beautiful book with very interesting
information... i think it really worth buying

i can't tell you where to buy second hand copies, but in the site they
say new books will arrive on december, maybe you can wait until then.

I have zilch experience with the book but...wow! Just reading the
"sample story" on the recording of "Mother Nature's Son" was
fascinating.
