Go visit. Enjoy.
(How come they can do this, yet my local roads authority can only do
fuzzy images of congestion every 10 minutes!)

If one walked down Abbey Road in the direction of the upper right,
they would come to Circus street. Walk down Circus street to
Cavendish Street. Make a right on Cavendish Street, and Paul's house
is about 5 houses down on the right, about a ten minute walk.
If one would make a left at the street in view, Grove End Road, walk
three blocks, there is St. John's Wood Tube station where they have a
Beatles cafe in the building.

How come the road lanes are all jagged and broken? Never seen anything like
it before.

My guess is the zig-zag lines have to do with alerting vehicle
operators to pedestrians or the approaching crosswalk. This
intersection is a little complicated. Abbey Road curves away from the
camera and has an intersection, Old Grove Road, that angles away to
the left of Abbey Road.

Standard road markings in the UK approaching a pedestrian crossing.
