To Peter Criss Fans Everywhere:
George Sewitt of The Sewitt Group, Peter Criss' manager, has asked that I
fill you in on the Peter Criss Fan Club that was offered through Tony
Nicole Tony Records (TNT).
One of the main reasons Peter Criss left TNT Records was because he
learned that the label had started a Peter Criss Fan Club (The Cat Club)
and was apparently ripping fans off! The label has allegedly taken checks
for the fan club and cashed them; having never sent a fan club package or
it seems anything else promised to those fans who sent in the checks they
cashed.
No one f***s with the Catman's fans! Peter intends to straighten this mess
out. In the very near future, everyone who joined The Cat Club' will
receive a letter confirming their membership and explaining the whole
situation to them.
Furthermore, everyone who joined The Cat Club' will receive their fan
club kits, plus all issues of the newsletter they are entitled to. Peter
apologizes for this bad situation and promises, it will never happen
again. Peter will be fully involved and oversee all aspects of his new fan
club.
In closing Peter wanted me to relay this message to his fans, "At the end
of "Beth" I used to say, "I love you," and that's about all I can say. I
will always love my fans. There will always be an extra beat in my heart
for them."
Thanks for your time. If you have any further questions, please feel free
to contact me at JET...@aol.com.
Kindest Regards,
David Snowden
P.S. If you would like information on the new fan club, please e-mail me
your complete name and mailing address so I may forward the information on
the fan club and merchandise once available.
Some of the magazines at the time speculated that Peter's religious
convictions were at the bottom of his leaving Kiss. Peter never
responded to this however.
