Yeah, the third time is tough, and in a way, the pressure shifts
back to the Cowboys on this one. Romo has to finally win a play-off
game and from here it looks like Jerry "Skullator" Jones is looking
for an excuse to ax Wade Phillips and promote Jason Garrett. That
said, the Eagles pissed away two TDs that I saw last week, as well as
the 2nd seed. McNabb overthrew Jackson on a long bomb and fumbled a
snap at like the 15. So maybe that team will show up again, and not
the team that won 6 straight. When I put them on I never know what to
expect.

haven't won a playoff game since 1996, while Philly has won several
playoff games since then (I believe Donovan has won 9 playoff games in
his career). Romo MUST win a playoff game before Cowboy fans fully
embrace him. That's the elephant in the room.
Jerry wants to keep Wade, and will unless 44-6 rears its ugly head
again. Garrett might be on the hot seat if they lose this game. I am
not sold on Wade Phillips, but I'd rather have him as head coach than
Garrett.
The Eagles are a big play team. They don't run the ball well, nor are
they the type of team that "dinks and dunks" its way down the field.
They need the big play to get them going. Same for the Cowboys. That
what it boils down too--who makes the big plays. Donovan will not be
as bad as he was last week. I expect him to hit Jackson and I expect
more Westbrook (who I still fear).
Until the Cowboys win a playoff game, I'm not expecting anything short
of yet another playoff loss. I know they are going into the playoffs
on a high, but I've seen this movie before. And the ending sucks.

I think you can stick a fork in Westbrook. He should retire
before he seriously cripples himself. He's already wearing that
oversized, bubble helmet. I think McCoy is going to be pretty good,
but you're right--the Eagles can't run the ball, and can't stop the
run either. Barber had five yards it seemed on each carry before
anyone touched him.
Romo said he was surprised the Eagles didn't blitz and I agree.
That's pretty much all they can do now, try to pressure him and force
mistakes. My sense is that they will get to Romo this time, but I
also watch this team every week, and they're so inconsistent I can
never really say if they're good enough or not.
To be honest, once they blew the first round bye, their chance to
do anything took a major hit. If they get past Dallas I can't see
them winning in New Orleans. I guess we'll see.

Despite Westbrook's egg shell head, I still get nervous seeing him on
the field. I think it's old habit. I like Dallas' run attack vs
Philly's run defense, but if Donovan gets hot, then Garrett will get
cute and try to out pass him. Not good. Dallas is a run first team (at
least it should be) and I get worried when opponents get a big pass
play or two on the secondary.

They played very vanilla on defense, for whatever reason, on Sunday.
They had success when they were sending 5 or 6 guys at Romo, so I
expect a LOT of that Saturday. The thing that Romo is doing nowadays
is he's stepping forward when he sees/feels the pocket collapsing,
which allows him that extra second to get the ball to Witten, Austin,
or whoever (except Roy E. Williams). In the past, he would try to
force the ball, thus causing an interception or batted ball. He's
doing a great job of protecting the ball, which is one of the reasons
why this offense is firing on all cylinders right now.

I'm on record (whatever that means) saying both N.O. and Minnesota
will lose their first playoff game, regardless of their opponent. N.O.
has looked like ass the past month, and they lost DE Charles Grant for
the playoffs, which is a big blow to their front 7. Minnesota has
chance of making a deep run, but I don't trust that team, even at
home. I have no idea who's coming out of the NFC, but they are prey to
whoever comes out of the AFC, which I think will be San Diego. Like
you said, we shall see.

losing 3 to the Cowboys to end a season. With George Fucking Bush
looking on! And the cuts to Skellator in the booth! Good lord, all
that is evil and wrong was on display tonight--I had to turn it off in
the 3rd quarter, just like last week. All I could cheer for was one
great play from a dog murderer!
I mean, this is certainly biased coming from an Eagles fan, but how
can anyone look at Tony Romo's face and not want to punch it? Can I
hear from some non-NFC East fans on this? This can't be just me, can

I was shocked how one sided it was. I full expected Donovan to play
better. That could have been due to your O-line not protecting him (or
Dallas' D just being that good). AJ would have gotten a hard on seeing
me fly off the handle after the murderer threw that TD pass. Boy was I
happy when he followed that up with a fumble which Dallas recovered.

Even me, a diehard Cowboys fan, can't stand all of the shots of Jerry
throughout the game. At least he doesn't stalk the sidelines like he
used to. He now goes down there towards the end of the game, rather
than the middle of it. Put on a headset, Jerry! You know you want to
be the head coach.

Romo is a polarizing figure here in Dallas. You would be surprised how
many Cowboy fans claim to loathe him, Of course now they are waving
their pom poms, but he is not the darling Troy and Roger were (and
still are). I'm happy I can finally wear my Romo jersey out in public
again without hearing something about 44-6.

Cleveland Ravens have always bored me to death and Peyton Manning is

My biggest sports fear is the Eagles winning a Super Bowl. To hear the
Eagle fans go on and on and on and on and on about their title would
be unbearable. Of course you would expect to hear that from a Cowboys
fan.

He will be a starting QB--no, really--somewhere next year. My guesses
are, in no particular order, Buffalo, Oakland, St. Louis, or maybe

Kurt Warner is easy to root for, unless you don't like your QBs crying
after winning a title. SD has a prick in Rivers, but he's damn good.

Many of them can't form a sentence as it is. You have to understand.
This area is inundated with Steelers fans, most of which are frauds
who have zero connection whatsoever to Pittsburgh. They're the same
people who jumped ship for the Cowboys in the 90s and are now keeping
their front running a little closer to home. Those people drone on
and on about the 8 million rings they have, so one measly ring for the
Eagles is not going to put a dent in their nonsense.

Maybe it's the so called Eagle fans here in Dallas that I fear if they
ever screwed around and won a title. I've always been told to NEVER go
to Philly wearing anything Dallas Cowboys, esp if you're going to an
Cowboys-Eagles game. Philly, and their fans have an awful reputation
down here, as I'm sure you're aware of. And, yes, I'm fully aware of
what Philly thinks of the city of Dallas.
And the moment I see a real Steelers fan will be the first one. Same
for a Pats "fan". If they can't tell me who Steve Grogan is, they are
not a Pats fan.

I'll never get over the Bounty Bowl and Buddy Ryan in general. Other
than the 3 Super Bowls, my favorite memories of the 90s Cowboys are
watching that fat fuck Buddy Ryan with a sulk on his fat face as his
Arizona Cardinals were getting urinated on by Troy Aikman and Co. If
you're a Cowboys fan, you loathe Buddy Ryan. It's like despising the
