NBC or FOX, it doesn't matter. Cheney is the most recent vice president.
Either 'side' wants him for interviews. The same could be said for Bill
Clinton, Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi. There's no difference in any of them
except the friends/businesses/political allies, that they funneled money to.
Cheney padded the pockets of Haliburton, Clinton managed to amass a
huge personal fortune and sent pork to political cronies, as did Reid and
Pelosi (the opt out of Nebraska a week ago, the 100 mil to the Louisiana
housewoman for her vote, the 300 mil to UConn. etc).
And what does Reid or Moussaoui have to do with anything? As
admitted/known terrorists, they should have both been shipped to Gitmo
and interrogated as a threat to national security. The travesty is that THEY
were given a chance to lawyer up. But being as they were on our soil,
and they were investigated by law enforcement, I've got no major
problem with them being tried here. That is not the same circumstance
tho as KSM or the others being brought here for trial. Again, it is not
the duty of a soldier to gather evidence. Those guys should be tried
in a military court.

We're a nation of laws, and it says something about us when we
actually stick to our principles, even if the bastards really don't
deserve the benefits of said laws.
Beyond that: do you have so little faith in our legal system? We've
successfully tried and jailed a number of terrorists over the years.
Reid, etc., are enduring a fate far worse than the death they had
hoped to receive, where their "virgins" or whatever await -- they're
rotting away in a prison for the rest of their miserable lives.

and facts. The 9/11 situation was much more vague in that all

It's a bit of a lack of faith, tho I don't think KSM will ever walk a free
man again, but it opens up 'possibilities' for error, and gives them
a stage. It is also gonna cost the near bankrupt state of New York
a projected 75 million dollars that could be far better spent. Not to
mention that trying to get info from a guy who has a lawyer and
the rights of a citizen is going to give us far less intel than having
him interrogated by the military. Obama has forbidden
waterboarding, but even so, military experts have much more
leeway and bound to get much more information out of guys like these.

of a total of 490 days at his Texas Ranch.

admin. a free pass in the months leading up 9/11, the decision to
attack Iraq, and well afterwards -- but they're facts. Really, the
press made things quite easy for Bush from the start. Remember the
U.S. surveillance plane that had to land in China? Bush stated that
military personnel were not hostages, and then cut a deal to get them
home while offering not one but two apologies. If Clinton had done
that, the outrage would have been deafening. And Obama? I can't even
imagine. Heads would implode.
I'll ask again: do you really believe that Time Warner/AOL, Viacom,
General Electric and the rest have a liberal agenda? Time/Warner/AOL
contributed the max amount allowable to Bush's inauguration. GE's
chairman openly rooted for Bush during the 2000 election. It is well

From what I can tell, this kid has been chirping non-stop about what

I wonder how much of Chris Matthews you've actually watched/listened
to. I see him as an independent thinker, more influenced by
Catholicism than any political party.
The guy voted for Bush, for fuck's sake. He was also waving his pom
poms for Cheney after the VP debate in 2004. He has defended Bush's
reliance on Jesus as a personal philosopher. He pushed right wing
talking points on the filibuster debate. He supported Bush's SS
benefit cuts. He has ripped on Hilary Clinton constantly. His shows
have often been unbalanced in terms of conservative/liberal guests.
Would a "die hard liberal" do these things? Really?
Perhaps you should research these "liberals" you claim to know so well
instead of looking at polls.

Our mainstream media outlets are largely owned by, what, six
conglomerates? Do you really believe for one second that those
congloms wouldn't dictate how a story should be told, or that it
shouldn't be told at all, if it might affect those corporate
interests? If anything, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, etc. are center right. Only a
far rightie would see it differently.

contributed the max amount allowable to Bush's inauguration. GE's
chairman openly rooted for Bush during the 2000 election. It is well
known that Steve Case is a republican. Just who are these liberals
that own the media and decide what kind of content will be pushed?
Some thoughts on the "liberal media" from those would benefit/have
benefited from having that myth out there:
