Any thoughts?

John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin)
Dave Grohl (Nirvana/Foo Fighters)
Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss)

Nice to see John Paul Jones back in action, even if it is a side-
project.
Attendance is a little disappointing, but I guess that's to be
expected.
If JPJ reunited with Led Zep he'd be selling out stadiums :)
They're playing all new, original material (no Zep/Nirvana hits).
It's more of passion project. A labor of love.

Agreed. Especially at this stage in his career (he's 63).
He follows his muse.

Not a bad crowd.
About what I expected from them (3-5K venues).
For a lot of us geezers, seeing JPJ is like seeing rock-n-roll royalty.

How pissed would you be to show up at a Page concert without a hint of
Zeppelin legacy?

Sometimes, it's better to just let it rest than to piss all over the
legacy.

It's cool that they're only doing their material and not relying on
the past. I saw the Foo Fighters open for Mike Watt before their
first album was released and it was cool for them to break new ground
than to rehash Dave Grohl's Nirvana days, Pat Smear's Germs days or
the two dudes' Sunny Day Real Estate days.

Me too.
I'm a sucker for most things Zep related.

I remember picking up the Death Wish II soundtrack many years ago
because Page was involved.
More recently, Raising Sand w/Plant.

That's a great way to describe it.
It's definitely a little more challenging. It takes a little time and
effort to fully absorb.
I like it.

"New Fang" is a bit more accessible.
I've even heard it on the radio a few times already.
