Not quite sure how he's doing... I haven't checked out his myspace
site yet.
I found David Whiteman on facebook when we both replied to a posting
on Frank Hart's (Atomic Opera) page.

What's up with Atomic Opera these days...
Speaking of stuff...
Finally heard some Mustard Seeds. Holy cow did I miss out.
Still haven't bout JugHead... is it too late?
Finally listened to (and then bought) some Storyville. Great band....
how did I miss those guys.
Any other music worth talking about ... not really... new collective
soul is just ok, same as new relientK, new switchfoot...
Joe Bonomassa rocks, though...
later.

Not anything as far as I can tell.
>Still haven't bout JugHead... is it too late?
It's never too late, although there is only the one disc as far as I
know.

I got into Porcupine Tree thanks to the fine folks in this newsgroup.
They were on the cusp of becoming my new, favorite band but I haven't
really been able to totally get into their new album.

Yep, just the one. If you like power pop, you'll probably enjoy it.
I listened to it a fair bit for a while, but I'm not crazy about it.
Mustard Seeds are somewhat similar, but I dig them more. I much
prefer Jelly Jam. Another band you might try along the power pop vain
is Dear Ephesus.

I've really been digging Marillion boots for the last few months, at
least the pre 1994 ones.

I guess that means he's a free man again. I hope he's staying clean
and sober.

Ran into MapDude (Bill) a few months back when King's X played at
Newby's in Memphis.
Mmm... Porcupine Tree.... yeah, been listening to them some. Got real
big into them about 2 years ago... listened all the time. Not so much
lately.
Oh, yeah, if you haven't seen/heard Tommy Emanuel, check him out.
Most amazing acoustic player I have ever heard. Try youtube.
Has anyone seen KX open for Porcupine Tree?

I did up in Boston about a month ago... House of Blues. KX sounded
pretty good that night... the acoustics in general were probably the
best I've ever heard in a small, indoor venue.
