I concur on every point!

POB is a beautiful work, as is almost anything Dennis wrote and/or
performed (I can't remember if Dennis's Baby Blue is on LA or a later
album, but that will tear you up...I would love to hear dennis's
Bamboo...did he have many Ballads planned for the album?

I always thought The prod. values, vocal clarity, amount of harmony used,
etc. was almost inexplicable after the three previous efforts. It's been
awhile since I've heard the album though

Who out there knows where I can pick up a CD of it?

Anyone selling?

I'll answer a few questions here.
1.Bamboo has one good ballad(other than Baby Blue which later appeared
on LA(Light Album),called either"It's not Too Late",or"It Won't Be
Long",with an absolutely gorgeous Carl Wilson vocal. The rest of the
tracks are mostly uptempo and are:
Under Moonlight
Schoolgirl
He's a Bum
Love Surrounds Me
Companion
Wild Situation
On the bootleg, there is one other song apparently from the early
seventies called"Holy Evening",which some people feel is one of Dennis'
best efforts. My favorite sounds like an outtake from Carl and the
Passions called"Carry me Home",which is a gorgeous DW balled about not
wanting to die.Too bad we never got this album.
Also,I agree that POB is awesome! It has been out of print for a few
years(as has all the BB's brother releases have been.Brian says to write
Capitol records to get it re-released.
