A fan posted on Amy's FOA site that the website newmusictuesday.com
had posted that there would be a new Amy release on Feb. 23rd of next
year titled, "Somewhere Down the Road."

Amy's manager Jennifer Cooke read the post and said that although EMI
had a compilation project of Amy's in the works, she hadn't been
notified of an actual release date yet. However, she did give us some
info on the upcoming project in one of several posts answering our
inquiries.

The EMI proposed collection titled "Somewhere Down The Road" would
include songs of journey and songs of faith. Long ago Amy suggested
that Word release a "Songs of Heaven; Songs of Earth" project and this
EMI project is picking up on that idea.

Most likely 16 - 18 songs. Some hits. Some b-sides. Some rarities.
Some re-records. 2 or 3 new songs. Detailed liner notes from Amy.
Personal photos included in the artwork.... And yes, a physical cd.
We've heard you loud and clear on that one.

That's the plan right now.

I will share more details as I know them.

Btw, Jennifer said that this project is in addition to the upcoming
release of all new material that is supposed to be released next
year. So perhaps this will tie us over until the release of all new
material. But it's great to know that we will get to hear some
rarites and even several new songs on this one as well. :-)

I hope there are more than "2 or 3" new songs. It will be nice to have CD
versions of the rarities though. Which one's do you all suppose they'll
include? Most of us *here* have heard or have most of them anyway. LOL
