Me importas tu, y tu, y tu, y solamente tu, y tu y tu y nadie mas que
tu. Ojos negros, piel canela, que me llegan a desesperar...
Piel Canela, isn't it? It is actually a Puerto Rican song, by Bobby
Capó. You can find it on the Nat King Cole en Español and many other
albums.

Many regards,

Mary

I'm trying to find the title to the classic Cuban
song with the lyrics:

Y tu, y tu, y tu!

Any leads appreciated.

Are you refering to "Piel Canela"?

Sorry, I only remember: "y tú, y tú y sólamente tú..."

If I remember the lyrics I'll post them for you. I might have to ask
some of my Cuban co-workers for this. I'm not sure this is a Cuban
item, it may be Mexican. For some reason I keep thinking of Agustín
Lara.

I think the first line is:

"Que se quede el infinito sin estrellas..."

sounds to me like the refrain form Bobby Capó's evergreen, Piel Canela..

BTW although sung by many cubanos it's author was a Puerto Rican who was
married to a cubana at the time he wrote it.....

Que se quede el infinito sin estrellas
y que pierda el ancho mar su inmensidad
pero el negro de tus ojos que no muera
y el canela de tu piel se quede igual.

Si perdiera el arco iris sus belleza
y las flores su perfume y su color
no seria tan inmensa mi tristeza
como aquella de quedarme sin tu amor.

Me importas tu, y tu, y tu
y nadie mas que tu, y tu, y tu

Ojos negros, Piel Canela

que me llegan a desesperar...

Me importas tu.....
