Funkin’ A! (formerly Downtown Crossing) is a well-established,
mixed 7-person Boston vocal band specializing in original songs
and innovative, high-energy covers of alternative, modern rock,
and R&B tunes. Seven years strong, we’re proud to be considered
a mainstay of the dynamic New England a cappella scene. We rehearse
Wednesday nights in Somerville/Cambridge/Boston (T-accessible,
or rides are provided) and gig around town.

Currently we’re looking for an amazing vocal drummer! A cappella
experience is great, but not necessary. Good time keeping, a wide
variety of styles, soloing ability, stage presence, and a sense
of humor are key. Arranging or song-writing experience is a plus.
Auditions will be held by individual appointment. Please contact
