Greetings, a cappella enthusiasts. Ken Malucelli from PrinceSF
Productions/A Cappella Central, here, hoping you and yours had an
excellent time over the holidays and are planning lots of fun, new
stuff for the New Year.
Re something new: I was inspired to set the gorgeous “Humming Chorus”
from Puccini’s Madama Butterfly for 5-part male a cappella, then
thought I might as well set if for 5-part female as well as 6-part
mixed a.c. I set it in both Bb (orig. key) and C. Think it'd make a
sweet little encore piece, if not in the rep. list for a concert.
