Rode the 750 several times. Owned a 920. Currently own an 1100 with nearly
20,000 miles. Worth the extra. There is more power and comfort to the
extra cc's. Personally I would never go back to the smaller cruiser.

I also own a Seca II that has been worked (600cc) and a Honda CB750F that I
am restoring. As a cruiser, I find that the little extra weight and engine
size makes a difference.

I own a 1100 and have riden a 750. There is a big difference.
Cosmetically....the handle bars are very different and the 1100 comes with a
sissy bar. Also, the 1100 has emergency flashers and a electric fuel pump.
Yes, they look very similar but ride both if you think you want a 750.

I have a 97 Virago 750 and love it. BTW, it's for sale. I'm moving up to a
1100. I'm in Mass if interested.

I owned a Vulcan750, which is similar, but last summer I rode in Holland
and rented both a Virago750 and the next day, an 1100. The 1100 feels
very similar to sit on- same weight, same handling, a little more
comfortable (to my big body), but mostly, it has considerably more
power! When I wanted to go from 50 to 80 mph on the 750, it sort of
goes wrrRRRRRINNNNG up to speed ( a little bit of revving up to it, as
it were) but the 1100 felt like it was just waiting all day for me to
ask..vaROOM!! and you were there! I wouldn't even consider it a
choice...go with the 1100.

In article <Pine.SOL.3.96.981014...@ux5.cso.uiuc.edu>,

puppy. Thye have a new baby and the bike may have to go. The bike is
immaculate and never been down. I think he wants somewhere between $4 and
5000. Let me know if you're interested and I can get in touch.
