Look like BMW lies like the rest of Japanese big boys in the
marketing department (weight, horse power, etc...) ?

the seat probably is 30.7. it feels like more because it's so darn wide.
you can shave the stock seat out to make it thinner/lower, or you can have a
custom seat made. messing with the suspension should be a last resort.

If the seat is real wide, it may seem closer to 34 than to 31, as yer legs spend
more time going outward, reducing your effective leg length.

should be able to... When I bought my "pre-owned" '92 K75s it was three
inches lower than stock... They did it by sliding the forks up and
putting a shorter rear shock in place... That does mess with the
steering a bit, though...

I scraped the centerstand with Cat on the back on Sunday. I had the suspension
set pretty soft but it still scraped. My Airhead had no clearance problems but
after Sunday, I wouldn't lower an Oilhead RT , that's for sure.

I trust you'll have the good sense not to mention that I posted this.

I need to retract my accusation, just sat on another R1150RT
with the loweat setting, and it is just right for my legs, feel
like 30.7''.
Last time, it must be set incorrectly by the saleperson.
