How do you keep a visor from fogging up? Are there any
products out there to stop this?

I've been very happy with the anti-fog juice put out by the rain-x
people. Blaine, however, says it don't work to well with his Quiet-Rider
in place. I'll be ordering one this week, so I'll post my opinions
about the combination when it gets here.

Its a product found around many homes and is rather cheap.

You find a cat. Grasp cat firmly above the hip area with one hand.
Now with the other hand grasp cat just below shoulder blades.
Hold cat over visor and squeeze cat(similar to an accordian).
Make sure to rotate cat in a circular motion ensuring a nice
even coating.

Enjoy your fog free riding.
When needing sure fire riding tips, always, remember the DoD.

Shaving cream. Spread it on and wipe it off. I'm serious.

What is a Quiet-Rider? I haven't seen them at the local cycle shops.
I suppose it is some kind of seal or baffle to keep air from coming
in the bottom of your helmet?

Tell me quick -- with the windscreen and the trunk and the front toolbag
and the gear glove I'm running out of places to put accessories on the
bike and have to start buying accessories for me. Gotta make sure them
bike shops don't go outta bizniss, dontcha know.

Maybe it's time to get those helmet mounted airhorns....

If you don't count the doctor and vet bills!

This sounds like a guaranteed cat-ass-trophy! When you get it mounted
on your trophy shelf, let us know. I cat-e-gorically believe you can't
cat-a-log the non-cat-a-leptic cat-a-clysmic results! And I don't say
this cat-a-chrestically!

Pure unadulterated lard works even better. But, watch out if it has butter
mixed in it. Also works better in cold weather (when you have a fog problem)
as it tends to get rancid when the weather warms up.

Now send it to Tony Wang. He's hungry.

I was talking to a guy who works at the local garage in
Kresgeville PA that I take my truck to for things I dont
fix. He had bought a 750 Honds sport 7 years ago and on
the 3rd day he owned it he was riding on Interstate 80
in PA (Bartonsville) when he passed out. He came to in
the hospital a week later in one of those beds that rotates,
turns, etc. His back was broken and also his neck, they
didnt know if he was going to be a "quad" or just a "para"
until he moved his arms. THe cause of the accident was
lack of oxygen, he had bought the helmet used and the bike
new, the guy he bought it from had put sealing foam on the
face shield (Full face helmet) and "blocked up" the air
vent slots in the front with plastic, he had done this
between the liner and the shell so you couldnt see it.
The sealing foam was the strip that came with the helmet.
The State Police and his lawyer had the helmet tested by
some hospital in Phila and they found that in fact the
sealing and blocking dropped the oxygen level enough
for the user to pass out if exerting and fall asleep
while sitting and doing nothing.
I have two helmets, one is a simpson full face that
I use during cold weather and have noticed that I Yawn
alot with that helmet, with my bell II open face I dont
yawn as much (just the normal 5am stuff). I intend to
be a lot more aware from now on that when I'm tired it
may not be from lack of sleep.
