DoD PATCHES - UPDATE

The patches were ordered as of today. It'll take ~4-6 weeks to be received.
I will mail them out to you as soon as I receive them.
To order patches:
I have had sufficient interest in resurrecting the DoD Patches. Therefore,
I will be ready to receive orders as soon as you read this message.
The new patches will be 3.5" in diameter, the same as the ORIGINAL patch.
They will have the traditional DoD Logo with all of the colors that are
in the traditional Logo, with a black background.
I will wait until I have sufficient orders for front money to order the
patches. Once I place the order it will be 6 to 7 weeks before I receive
them and I will mail them out immediately.

IS NECESSARY.
Proceeds will be donated to the AMA Heritage Museum.
ORDERING INFORMATION:
Patches will be $5 each plus one Self-addressed, stamped envelope per
order. If you're placing a large order use a larger envelope with a
couple of first class stamps on it. Orders of 2 to 4 only need a #10
envelope and one first class stamp. This is for orders in the U.S.
Canadians: please send a self addressed envelope and an extra US$1 for
postage. Internationals: Send US$2.50 to cover envelope and air-mail
delivery.

I haven't read the FAQ recently, but if the first name you have has
something to to with a Unix text editor, and the lastname has something
in common with Kawasaki and British bikes, he hasn't posted for quite
sometime. There is a new KoTL, but the FAQ hasn't been updated with the
appropriate hints. At least not to my knowlege.

As of right now (12:15 Thurs 25 Aug) it's still happening. It MAY be a
local problem here, as we have a firewall running. I get the same response
from 3 different machines on different subnets, but they share a common
gateway to the outside world, so perhaps stuff is being truncated along
the way. I dunno. I'm a Mechanical Engineer, not a Computer Scientist. In
fact, I'm a Mechanical Engineer who's going for a ride. Right now. <click>

If one considers <4 May 94> new. I know more numbers have been assigned
between then and now. Hopefully the last KotL kept a master copy and has
passed it on to the new KotL (yes, I know who [he|she|it] is / yes, even
before the new clues were posted / no, I won't tell you / no, it's not me).
If not, there's gonna be some howlin' going on. But at least those at the
