Anyone out there got any idea what the initial setting on the mixture
screw
should be on the carbs for my 82 Virago 920?
I just put the bike down for the winter. Morning temp. dropped
to 50 last month here in California. (Brrrrr!):-)
After 16 years of faithfull service and 45K miles, I decided to
rebuild the carbs. Didn't note the initial settings?
Didn't think they wouldn't list this in the service manual.
It just says that it is set at the factory and don't touch it!
Big Help!
Any clue on a starting point would be a appreciated.
Otherwise, it'll be trial and error until I can get it idling.

Thanks in advance,

Two and a half turns out is a good starting point. Fine tune it from
there.

Good luck

Dont know about the carb settings, but here in michigan, we ride untill it
snows. Many mornings its below 30 degrees.
That is wat being a true biker is all about.
