If you have multiple rtl-sdr dongles, they will likely have the same ID (serial number, product name, etc.). To make rbfeeder and rtl_airband work together, you will need to change the ID of each dongle to avoid potential conflict.
You can specify either hackrf=0 and hackrf=1 to select by a device index, or the serial number (or an unique suffix of a serial number), hackrf=f00d and hackrf=1234abba. hackrf_info lists multiple devices and their serial numbers. Device selection by serial number tail ("hackrf=beeff00d") requires updated hackrf firmware. The firmware changes have been in the hackrf git master, but there's no official firmware binary published yet (02.06.2015).

A licence to use DNTV Live! may also be purchased as an optional extra with a number of other cards/devices (eg the Dual Hybrid 7164 and the TechniSat Airstar 2) and will work with these devices by using the user name and serial number supplied upon purchase of the licence.
SDR devices can only be used by one program at a time. If you have more than one device you can select which one you want to use in some tools and some others will take the first available device. Most of the SDR devices available on the market have the same serial number (00000001) and this makes it difficult to identify them, so we have added a tool to change these serial numbers if necessary.
