Clutch or sidestand ignition cut-out.

Has your motorcycle been crashed or did it just fall over since it ran
last?
There is a unit called sensor assembly, kill that appears to be under
the right hand side cover, or somewhere on the right side of the
machine. It appears to be a re-settable tip over switch. If your lean
angle exceeds 60 degrees, the tip-over switch will disable the ECU and
shut off the engine and especially the injector pump. You don't want a
lot of gasoline spraying around after a crash, yannow...
Go to www.partsfish.com and look at the fiche called "Wire Harness 1".
It looks like there is a reset knob or button on that thingumbob.
Smaller Hondas, like the CBR-600RR have their tipover switch in the
front fairing...
Motorbikes have gotten ridiculously complicated in the last 20 years or
so.
Electronic gizmos everywhere to frustrate the rider with their
recalcitrant
behavior...
Any time the ignition key is ON, you should have power through the
coils, as you've noticed. Power comes through the ignition switch and
fuze and kill switch to the coils. The ignition unit is the ground for
the coils. The ignition box will just have power transistors or silicon
control rectifiers that are switched ON when the ignition is ON, and
they get turned OFF when they get a signal from the pulser coil or
crank angle sensor. The transistors ground the coils and they work just
like ignition points, except they are solid state electronic devices.
When one transistor or SCR is turned OFF, you get a spark from one
coil...
But your engine control unit probably needs certain enabling signals to
allow the engine to run, like it will have a logic circuit that allows
the engine to start and run in neutral with the side stand down so you
can warm up the engine while putting your helmet and gloves on. But, if
you put the transmission in gear while the sidestand is down, the logic
circuit will probably switch the ECU off and the engine will stop
running...
Typically the ECU will enable the fuel pump to run when it gets a
signal from the pulser coil or crank angle sensor that the engine is
running or being cranked by the starter.
The ECU will need an injector timing signal before it gets a spark
timing, so you may have pulser coils as well as crank angle or cam
sensors...

CBR-929 RR is a Honda sportbike made in 2000 and 2001...
It's an evolution of the 1993 CBR-900RR that started out as a 600cc
sized chassis that was supposed to have a 750cc motor, but then Honda
went nuts with the engine size. Sportriders loved them because they
were a lot lighter than a GSXR-1100...
yes it has been layed down, No cases were cracked or anything just
layed down! is there a way to eliminate the bank angle sensor and
kick stand swirtch to try that!

Did you find the tip over switch on the right hand side of the
motorbike?
>From the "wire harness 1" fiche at www.partsfish.com I can see what
looks like a reset button. I suppose you just push it toward the back
of the motorbike, but I can't tell. Maybe you have to push it with the
key turned on so the chip in the ICU remembers to be enabled?
If you know a mechanic at a Honda $tealer$hip, and he's a nice guy, he
might just tell you how to reset the switch, but he's in the same
position as a lawyer giving free legal advice, most lawyers don't want
to do that...
You might want to do a google search for the tip over switch and see
what the guys in the CBR-929RR forums have to say about resetting the
switch or bypassing it. I don't have a CBR-929RR or a wiring diagram,
and I can't tell whether you want to jumper the wires or just
disconnect them.
It's the same deal on the side stand switch, some sidestand switches
make contact when the stand is down, so the way to disable the switch
is to disconnect it. But on my Kawasaki, the side stand switch made
contact when the sidestand was up, so I had to make a jumper wire to go
across the wire harness connector...
You could trying working the side stand up and down and wiggling the
push button on the side stand switch while pushing the starter button
to see if the engine acts like it's going to start...
he wouldnt have a problem with the tip over sensor becuase it re cycls
itselfs after u turn the bike off then back on after the bike has ben
picked uped. there is no button that u need to push. it sounds to me
that maybe when u dropped ur bike the pulser wires could have been
damaged. the pulser is what tells the cdi when to fire.if not that it
could be the side stand switch and u can test that down on the side
stand were the wires come out and do a continuity test. u should get a
reading when the switch is activated
