What is a v-twin? Dose it have only two cylinders or four. If anyone knows

Two cylinders, one behind the other at an angle. Looks like a "V" from
the side. Pick up any bike mag for pictures.

My definition was over-simplified for an obviously over-simplified
question.

FWIW, my (simple) definition would apply to Guzzis if you looked at it
from the front rather than the side. I think.
