Sound like my NC30 :-)
I was talking to a chap at the Superbike show, and he recomended uprated
springs and Oil. I'll be sending mine to him next week so i'll let you know
how i get on.
Kind Regards
Peter

Yeah I have the same problem, basically the CBR front end is to soft and the
stock item is pants to say the least!!
I have been advised to either get the forks revalved at a specialist
(expensive but best option) or to fit some uprated/progressive springs and
new oil (cheaper less effective method)
Then start from scratch with the settings until the desired result is
achieved!
I would be interested in your outcome seen as I am in the same boat

Cheers

Matt

Well Duncan, I spent quite a bit of tracktime on one of these little 400cc
Hondas last year, with good results. The bike actually belongs to a close
friend, but I used it during several track school events, for my instructing
duties.

The forks seemed to work well by replacing the stock springs with a set of
stiffer .80 or .85Kg/mm (depending on the rider's weight) rated units, and some
oil replacement/level change. We replaced the old fork oil with some fresh
7.5 weight viscosity, high quality stuff, and set the "level" at about 110mm
from the top of the forks (measured with the forks fully compressed and the
springs removed at the time, of course).

If you wanted to spend more money for added changes to the damping valving,
that'd be your call .... but from my experience with the bike, just the spring
and oil change/level for the front end of the bike, made this portion of the
suspenion perform quite well.

Just one rider/racer's perspective .... FWIW.
