I can't vouch for the B engine (would like to try one some time) but I
can say that the rubber mount TC engines vibrate quite a bit at idle.
I kept the garage door opener in a pouch behind the windshield, and
noticed that when the bike (2003 UC) warms up in the driveway the
garage door would go up and down. Had to find another place to put
it.
I've read somewhere that the counterbalances in the B engine reduce
but do not eliminate the vibration. Were I you, I'd ask for a test
drive.
Now, the Sportster at idle would practically bounce the front wheel,
like it was eager to get on the road.
