Shirley a round for the house!
Put it on the plastic cause the check ain't in the mail yet.

Doc has been sold. Got a winning bid through e-Bay just a little bit ago.
I didn't get what I wanted, but think I did pretty good, all things
considered.
We've already swapped phone #'s and I'll be calling him shortly to make
arrangements and such.

(update...I take that back! He just called me! He's really excited so I
didn't think it would do to cry on the phone. lol
He's been looking for a bike like this forever. Has a broken back so has
been wanting a hack. Sounds like my boy will be going to a good home!)

To Doc! For getting me back into the wind 4 years ago, for the
trips...Michigan, SC, Maine, Laconia, Ohio...all the memories and all the
new friends he helped me find!

<clink>

Boy am I gonna miss him!

Congrats/condolences on the sale.

I've been a little remise, have I missed an announcement on what's next?

That's fantastic--you want him to be appreciated and ridden.

Thanks, I think. :(
I haven't moved on to excited yet. That'll probably happen when the check is
in the bank.

Nope, no announcement yet. I've talked to a few people, I've got my "need"
list all set, add a few "want" and once Doc is outta the driveway, I'll be
making phone calls and shopping in earnest!

One of the guys that showed up at this year's Snow Run knows the guy
that bought my Sporty chopper.
Apparently DynaMo now lives in a climate controlled garage(cooled in
the summer, warmed in the winter). Much better care than I ever took
of her, and I loved that bike like a daughter.
Very nice to hear she wasn't torn to pieces to further somebody else's
project.

Surely he must. Like I said, it was gratifying that he hasn't torn her
apart as a donorcycle. T'was more or less what I expected when I sold
her.
Kinda funny, the guy I bought Pearl from still checks her out every
time I ride her to work, even though he says he basically just put her
together to sell her.

I'm not sure. I've got a couple different ideas I have to sort out. I gotta

I never had a chance to run mine back by to show the guy I bought her from.
As near as I can tell, his place was wiped off the map during the big F5
tornado in '99. When I went thru there a week later, there was nothing but
dirt and an occasional cement slab where there was once a housing addition.
Even the asphalt was gone from alot of the streets in the area.

A whole lot of window shopping, and lots of poking around locally. Only a
couple bikes really caught my eye. I'll be moving away from the hack this
time around, for sure. A trike? Hmm...mostly too expensive for my
pocketbook, unless I fall upon a ready made.
I'm really liking the Voyager set-up, mostly that one Arie posted that turns
into a trailer. As for a bike, that'll be an Evo this time around. Pretty
well sold on staying with an FLHsomething or another.
Hopefully I'll have news to report soon, and trips reports soon after that!

OH damn! We'll never get picks of them together!
Well, then I'll just have to make sure my next one can get me to Tulsa, and

Now that's a damn fine looking scoot you're standing behind. Too bad you
didn't get a picture of the rider/owner. Would have added a certain je ne

Not yet. They've got a "road side repairable" quality to them. I guess
that could be translated into "old technology". Speaking of which, Bep just
bought a '77 Land Rover last week, complete with a "Porn Star" sticker on
the back. He's already pulled the wiring...

I've got two I'd sell, but the wife has become a bit attached, even named
them. One started school this year. <g>
