I'm in the third row, on the right side, midway between the center and the
right end. My second international gold medal, the chorus's third. We beat
out over thirty other choruses to maintain the title. It all happened in
Portland a month ago.

Not that I'm bragging or anything. OK, well, maybe just a little. We worked
many, many hours for it, and I'm glad it paid off.

Outstanding performance. Easy to see why your group won.

However, I still don't think it topped "76 Trombones".

Hey Larry. Post a link to the caveman performance that the other group
made. It's a hoot!

I'm kind of undecided myself on which was better. Both times, we performed
the set better the following night when we accepted the trophy.

I dunno-just search in YouTube for 2012 barbershop Portland caveman and it
should come up. You're right - it's pretty funny. And, those guys won the
bronze fifth place medal!

What impresses me is not only the vocal harmony, but the elaborate
choreography. The leader, Dr. Henry, appears to be a very talented and
committed individual the way this group of (I am guessing) 75 guys all
come together for the visual and musical effect.

Kudos to him and the entire group.

Thanks.

Jim is himself a 2-time quartet gold medalist. Yes, he is very talented!
We have other folks that put the choreography together.

There are 153 guys on the risers in this performance.
