Ultra Motorcycle Co. Receives Excellence Award From Easyriders Magazine

MIRA LOMA, Calif.--(AutomotiveWire)--Feb. 13, 2001--Ultra Motorcycle Co.
(OTCBB:UMCC - news; ``UMC'')(www.ultracycles.com) announced that its rigid
frame Fat Pounder motorcycle was honored by Easyriders Magazine (AMEX:EZR -
news) with the Best Performance Bike of the Year award, at Easyriders V-Twin
industry trade show held in Cincinnati on Feb. 4, 2001.

Dave Nichols of Easyriders Magazine handed out the V-Twin Excellence Awards,
which covered 12 different categories honoring industry manufacturers for
their achievements. The Fat Pounder's competition included Harley-Davidson's
(NYSE:HDI - news) Buell Lightning X-1, Big Dog's Prosport and Confederate's
Hellcat Roadster.

Easyriders found that compared with other hybrid performance motorcycles,
stock Fat Pounders have been running the best quarter-mile elapsed times on
the Teresi Dyno Drags, with low 10-second times.

The award was accepted on behalf of UMC by Robert Norfleet, owner of
Norfleet Motorsports, UMC's dealer in Richmond, Va.

A good friend of mine bought one and ended up having to sue to get refund due to
several warranty issues they never resolved.

Speaking of which, what's the deal with those new "Indian" bikes
coming out now? Maybe my eyes are going out but they look like Harleys
with Indian fenders & decals - like it's just a lot of aftermarket
parts.
