Not sure I fully agree with it, but considering the folks involved, this
might actually work as a deterrent.

As we enter the dark ages again, bring back the public executions...the
minions loved it in medieval times, burnings, evisceration, hangings
beheadings...it was supposedly great fun, take the kids...ya'll come
back now - ya hear!

Yeah, what the fuck, why not? The right wing of this country has
descended into a seething mass of anti-intellectual reactionary idiocy
and apparently taken over the Republican part, half-wits and
know-nothings are taken seriously as politicians on a national scale,
all we need are bread and circuses. Fuck it, we'll end up with what we
deserve, an ignorant backwater country sucking cheap shit from the
asshole of any country callous enough to grind up it's poor and it's
children in the gears of factories, producing nothing of our own but
bile and ignorant cattle led around with bullshit slogans and fierce
manufactured outrage against exactly the wrong people.

Fuck it. Bring on the hangings. And cake, I want cake at the hangings.

Can we have cherry pie too?
Or would that not be considered bread?... you know... for the circus...

Actually, don't blow a gasket too soon. As far as manufacturing, I
haven't looked up the actual numbers yet, BUT; in the newspaper the
other day, (and this is just from my addled memory); Mercedes announced
opening a plant in the south somewhere to build the C class (either cars
or parts for the cars, I don't remember)... BECAUSE the American Worker
is cheaper labor (non-union of course and the exchange rate), and is
high on the list of excellent work done and high productivity.

Oh, excellent! Now all we have to do is to get rid of those pesky child
labor laws and we too can be right up there with China, the world's
source of manufactured goods. Do away with schools, too, other than the
ones who make gladiators for the pro-sports arenas. Who needs to be
able to read if you've got Faux News to tell you all you need to know?

I actually got paid once to create pictorial instructions on how to use
a certain weapons system that was being exported to another country
because most of the troops were illiterate in their own language. No
shit. We could do that here and save a bunch of money on schooling.
You don't need to know how to spell _bootstraps_ to be able to pull
yourself up by them, do you?

We've got a pretty good start. I'm sure you've noticed that
whenever a politician wants a new revenue sorce, lottery, tax, fee,
etc. it touted as "for the benefit of education", but seldom makes the
transition intact. However any cut voted on by the citizen will damn
sure "come out of education", & usually does.........

BTW, you didn't make any money designing the little burger,
fries, shakes, etc. overlays for the fast food cash registers did you?

Don't forget those damned EPA laws so we can cover our country with a
brazillion tons of toxic smogs hourly, paint toys with lead based paint,
soak clothes and stuffed animals for export in antimony, stretch infant
formula with melamine, export contaminated pet food, contaminated
heperin and vanish or imprison those who make waves. We can be cheap
then `eh? WTF is it gonna take for us to stop importing this crap?

As a matter of fact, you don't need to be able to reed and right to make
a living and be happy.

Yea, where were these bastards when we really needed 'em back in 1862?

Check to see what proposed tax concessions are being extorted for
unfettered access to these fine craftsmen. I think BMW whispered in
their ear a while back that the pickings were good based on the deal
they got (also from addled memory)- but Mercedes had to allow ample time
to prevent the illusion of "following" their rivals.

When you say "good wine" at $8/glass - what you be talking about Willis?

Yea, come to think of it - right after he asked for and received a
deferment from military service in WWII to take care of his family - and
shortly before divorced his wife and made mucho dinero portraying a
brave soldier in WWII films - only in America can such an icon arise.

We seldom disagree but I have to on this issue as Vice President of the
Knife, Hatchet, and Garrote Society. Shooting people is not always the
answer. Yes it is very effective but it lacks a certain personal touch.

The only thing wrong with that picture is that it took 18 years to rid the
world of the waste of air and protoplasm. The arguement for clemency was
based on the fact the execution might be painful. Was a young girl's rape
and death by strangulation not painful? I suppose if she was actually dead
at the time of her dismemberment and scattering of her body parts across two
States that probably wasn't painful. But in this case I would have no
problem if they would've done the same to that vermin without the
strangulation happening first.

I'd even bring the cake.
