EK contribution update - We're Over Halfway There!!!!!

Look here for updates on where to send contributions, and how
much money has been raised. Be sure you RELOAD on every visit!
Currently, we are trying to raise $8000 for a Mobility Converted
van for Eddie. Ann managed to put a non-refundable $2000 deposit
on the van. Our goal is to have the money by mid-February.

UPDATE: Eddie's been down in the dumps. I sent him a bunch of email and
posts and it really lit him up when Ann read them. I am forwarding
letters and
pictures today (1/24), I ony wish I could be there when she reads them.
I will
be giving him a tutorial on "The Internet - As It is Today". If that
doesn't put
him to sleep, nothing will! ;-) Seriously, though, it should be
intersting for him
to hear how far we've come in 3 short years. And he'll understand the

addresses at the end of TV shows!

Contributions received to date total
$ 5032.00 US
That's 63% of our goal of $8000.
I'd like very much to see us be able to get Ann's money (her $2000
deposit)
back to her to put towards Eddie's Physical Therapy. However, we really
only
need $6000 to take the van, and then whatever costs for title,
transfer, tax,
license and insurance to get it on the road.
Much more money is currently in the hands of the U.S. Postal
Service.
