Ya'll thought I got lost in Florida didn't ya? <sfsf> Beertender, set up a
round for the good folks here, if'n ya please. Drinks on me!
We've been back for a while. Sorry I didn't get to meet any of you this trip,
but we are down there often. We'll catch you next trip. My dad did find it in
his heart to take me on my annual trip to the dealership in Melbourne. They
were having some truck load sale that day, so I got to, at least, _look_ at
some bikes.
The weather was great, and between the pool and the beach and my favorite flea
market, we didn't have time for much else. But, thats the way my little girl
likes it.
Sooooo....time to start getting ready for riding season! I had "Doc" out on
Sat. for a Memorial ride for Terry Boutwell. Les posted about him getting
killed.
<clink> Ride forever free, my friend!
I think Les will be posting my ride story there as well.
The bike ran great. Damn, if that shovelhead doesn't like the cold weather! On
Thurs. I am taking off the Super B. We're putting on a CV carb. We are also
planning on taking the clutch off the shifter, putting it over to my right foot
and moving the brake up to the handle bars. Oh, and adding self cancelling
directionals. I like to use both hand signals and directionals. With the
current setup, I am not able to do either one. I had drilled a hole in the
windsheild and installed a toggle switch for the left directional.....but,
well.......I don't like that either.
Looks like I'll be heading to Laconia in June. Riding out with some of my
locals Bros. and a friend from Louisiana may be coming up , as well. I'd very
much like to meet some of you. I've read the info on Vermort, and this looks
do-able. So let me know when/where the fun is, and I'll try to make it.
::settling back to read, now:::
Beertender, another round, please! I've had too much coffee again, and have
rambled!

Thanks. We love'd it. If I'd have known he was going to take me, I'd have tried
to get a hold of a few people. :::shrugging::: What's a gal to do. My family
has a real _issue_ with my riding again. It was his way of saying he is trying
to understand. They found out, quite by accident, that I had a new bike. Oh
well.
Next trip down will include my babysitter and my bike. Just gotta find
someplace to stash it! <g>
BTW Isn't that bike in the front window (of the dealership) awesome? What was
it? A '66, '64? I forget, but it was sweet!

If it's the same black and white one then you would remember correctly, but
you knew that. Drinks on me for no particular reason.

Beers, bikes and babes I can remember, everything is kinda blurry.

"beers, bikes and babes"?? My God, I sound like a poser, next I be calling
everyone "bro". Well you know the old saying, if you can't laugh at
yourself......something...
