Not when it was posted here about two weeks ago. If its a secret, it
isn't too closely held.
Why not invite the whole of Usenet? Are they gonna descend on the
location and ruin the small local towns database and start face to face
flame wars? Imagine the headlines after that: COMPUTER GEEKS THREATEN
STAUNTON MAYOR WARNS OF POSSIBLE VIRUSES.

June 2-4 in Staunton, IL which is between exit 41 and 44 on I-55. Some
campground there. I figured I'd maybe make it a day trip unless I get
into the 'shine with you. Then I might forget what day it is and spend

Well that shine is great in the campground as long as you stay well back from
the fire with it! Anyway, I have MITM on my EVENT calendar for this year.
Partied with Karen, Celiz, Cheezie, Tom Ohmer, Steve Coates, and others last
year and want to do so again. Even better to meet a few Assholes there
also, and to pick up a T-Shirt from Watson's Wheels of Madness in Alton,
Ill. Is that enough reasons for a weekend trip?

It'll be at the same place as last year in Staunton, Illinois at the
Forest Lakes Campground. Location is Exits 41 and 44 off of I-55 and the
road runs parallel to and west of I-55.
Phone number is 618.635.2644...call for a brochure cause it has
directions.
I've already reserved the same section we had last year. It has three
cabins with possibly a fourth before the MITM.
The large cabin is 52 dollars a night for four but will sleep six at an
additional 2 dollars a person.
The two smaller cabins are 26 dollars a night for two but will sleep four
at an additional 2 dollars a person.
More than enough space for tents around the cabins.
A good faith deposit of 20.00 will be required which will be used for
t-shirts and for the space if ya don't show...e-mail me privately for a
confirmation, t-shirt sizes, quantitys, ques and an address.
Send me a size(s) and quantity of T shirts ya need and 20 bucks whenever
as long as it's about a month before MITM (no hurry!!!)
Figured the Saturday night we're there we could all ride to a friend of
mine's pig roast...he just told me about it today and I hear he cooks a
helluva great BBQ pig! He said he'd have a few kegs of beer for those
wishing to indulge.

I just got my HOG membership package last night, so I checked out the map
in the tourbook for Illinois. Staunton wasn't on it! I'm getting a better
map before we go.
