Well it's about time I start going over the old 1996 KX250 for Wudi.
Purchased a new front tyre last week. Some kind of Dunlop.
Believe this is replacement to the original front tyre. No problem mounting
it. Used the old inner tube.

The KX is far from stock. The front suspension has been softened and pushed
up in the triple clamps about an inch. The rear shock has been internally
shaved an inch. It has a lightning coil, flywheel weight,12 tooth front
sprocket and 51 tooth rear O-ring chain. High seat foam. Acerbis: large fuel
tank, plastic, front and rear lights.
An 18 inch rear rim to replace the original 19 inch. Believe I redid the
top end twice and new set of clutch plates. Pro taper bars. Skid plate and
kick stand.

I also have a matching bike that is set up for yhe MX track that is like
new. In the future I'd like to sell them both and get Dual Sport bike with
an electric start and pillion foot pegs.

Opps I forgot to mention the KX has a USFS approved spark arrestor, Acerbis
hand guards and is probably the only KX in the State Wisconsin that has a
license plate.

The bikes has served me well through the years. It's been to the Moab area
at least a half dozen time. 10 day to two week bike vacations to Mojave
Desert, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Upper Michigan, Canada and
few short rides at three Idaho Spodefests.
