A few guys in Southern Oregon I know have used their services for suspension
set-up, and were extremely pleased.
I've never heard a bad report about them.

I used Richard (House of Horsepower) to do my KTM suspension and it is
today(or was) the best damn suspension I ever had, I did have to send the forks
back a second time they were still a little soft but I prefer the front end
stiffer, but the back was right on and on the second time he had the forks
perfect. I kick myseft in the ass for not having him do my 426, but live &
learn. His prices were really good for the quality work I recieved.

This is one of the few areas I look to the pro's. I know nothing of house of
horse power, but I don't know of any pro's running their suspension. I'm
very picky when it comes to my set up, and I have always trusted pro-action.
They just do an awesome job! I would stick to one of the bigger names like
Pro Action, Pro Circuit or Factory Connection!

Adam
So when we buy something mail order we should only trust, Chaparral, Mxsouth,
or Dennis Kirk and forget the new guy :-).

A friend of mine had his suspension done by Richard and he *HIGHLY*
recommends him... especially for KTMs. Unfortunately, I haven't had the
chance to ride his bike yet. Richard makes some kind of bladder change in
the shock that is supposed to be the cat's meow. BTW- I don't know any of
them but there is a long list of 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers in pro and
amateur classes in several different disciplines. To me that indicates that
Richard cna set a bike up to work well for a wide range of riders... I think
that is important. I've talked to Richard once about doing my suspension. I
plan on sending it to him around the middle or end of July if all goes well.
I'm still losing weight (16 pounds down, 20 to go) and need to settle in
before I have it done.

Looking to the pros is one thing. But remember that just because a tuner can
set up a bike for a pro racer, doesn't mean he can set one up for a spode.
Also look to see how amateurs are doing as well. I'm a a spode (there I said
it). My friend is a spode. His recomendation... one spode to another means
alot more to me than what the pros are running. :)

With the exception of Chaparral, we are bigger than any of those, and we
have been around longer than any of them! :oP

But anywho, I was just giving my opinion! I am very particular over my
suspension, and I always have been! When I first went to Pro Action they
were the new guy and they were local!

If some of you get your work done there, and are satisfied, lets hear about
it...you may drum them up some business!

I believe KTMNealio had a little trouble with his shock that was
revalved by House of Horsepower. I think they continued to work on it
for free until it was right. I haven't seen him post in a couple of
months so he must be busy working. You should be able to dig up his
email address from old posts.
As they are kinda local (60 miles away), I've been meaning to let them
work on my XR400 suspension.

You guys must have a shitty marketing team then, because I never heard
of STNT until you started posting here. <G>
