I usually go thru a couple of pairs of gloves every year, but last year i
got a pair of MSR world tour gloves( i think these are there low end gloves)
and used them most of the year. These are the best gloves i have ever had
very comfortable and really work great on the really long rides (100+
miles).
I have a pair of high end fox gloves that if i ride more than 20-30 miles in
them they give my hands some nasty blisters.
I also have a pair of moose gloves that do the same thing as the fox gloves.
I had a pair of thor gloves a while back that were good but still not as
good as the MSR ones.

My MSR gloves are almost toast my fingers are starting to come out the ends.
Looking for opinions on what you wear and how they hold up.

Someone told me they wear mechanix mechanic gloves when they ride and they
said they work great anybody try them?

Me three. I use their "Air" model:

... along with Moose "underwear" kevlar liners. My first pair of "airs"
lasted for four seasons before the fingers coming through. The replacements
are on season #2 and not much wear to show for it. To keep the blisters at
bay, the liners are the only things that work for me ... having those soft
computer-weenie type hands.

I like the fingerless types so I can do stuff without having to take the
liners off along with the gloves.

Good ridin' to ya,

Spam? Yes and no. I used some Sinisalo gloves before I was sponsored
by them. I still pay for my stuff. I just pay less.

I've used several different brands of gloves. The ones from No Fear were
comfortable but weren't too tough. My old Answer have held up will but the
fingers were too long. My SoCal racing gloves are comfortable but don't seem
to have the quality of others. The Fox Pawtectors are my favorites. They fit
great and are holding up well.

Having throttle and "oil field hand" calouses, I don't wear glove
liners.

My two favorite riding gloves are a pair of '01 MSR System X gloves
and a pair of '02 Moose XCR gloves.
Both are wearing very well, and have no holes in them.

I loved the Fox Flex-Air gloves, but they just won't last for me.

The cheap gloves seem to not have as much palm protection.

The Acerbis Carbon Fibre knuckle gloves are great, but at almost $60,
are just too pricy for me.
