I visited your site yesterday and your RM really looks the part. Where did
you buy your new plastic from and what did it cost you ? As you may know or
not know I have a 1990 KX 250. As the cash comes in I'm fixing it up as time
goes by, I would love some shiny new plastic. A rebuild really cost me alot
of $$$ and the previous owner was a real idiot when it came to maintenance.
Do you know Doma pipes ? I'm buying either a Doma or DEP whichever is
cheaper. Well enjoy your bike !

i got mine from UFO, acerbis also make plastics. UFO plastics are softer -
they scrath easier but they flex if you fall off its the opposite with
acerbis.

well UFO are good enought:

my side panels are UFO
rear mud guard is acerbis
front mud guard is UFO
rad shrouds are acerbis

with all of these plastics the soft UFO plastics have shown through.

yea i know the type of people!, that reminds me i need to change my RM's
oil!

Buy DEP. Doma exhausts are OK, but they are more expensive than DEP and the
silencer is riveted so repacking will be near impossible!

if you are intrested in what i have done to my bike go to the frame on the
left and select "specs" thats a list of mods i have done to the bike, alsi
if you select bikes you will see what the bike looked like wheni bought it -
not as pretty as it is now

You can get UFO plastics at Game Services for about R160 for a front fender,
R280 for a rear fender and about R400 for side panels. If you squeal a bit
you'll get a discount.

Acerbis plastics is imported by www.proaction.co.za and is usually quite a
bit more expensive than the UFO plastics.

I'm converting my KTM from orange/silver to black/silver. I got the front
fender and number plate and are waiting for the radiator shrouds.

Do they order the parts or do they have some in stock ? My bike is pretty
old, I hope they still have plastics for it. Black and silver will look
great ! I've seen some KX's with black fenders as well which looks good
against the green frame.

I've ordered 1990 YZ graphics from Game Services for a client, and they had
it in stock.
If they don't you have it, a shipment comes in from overseas every 4 to 6
weeks.
