Want to know about CZ motorcycles... See the "CZECHPOINT" Web site at
http://home1.gte.net/jawaman/index.htm. Everything you always wanted to
know about motorcycles built in Czechoslovakia, such as CZ, Jawa and
ESO. If you have questions e-mail the page builder Reese Dengler, I bet
he knows.

Gary,
CZ's were produced in the old Czechoslovakia. They continued
manufacturing up until at least two years ago. You could buy the bikes
mail order really cheap. The bikes they were selling a couple of years
ago had technology from the late '70's, ie. air cooling, twin
forward-mounted shocks, about 9 inches of fork travel, etc. Since
Czechoslovakia is no more (Czech Republic and Slovakia, I think), I
don't know what happened to the factory. I haven't heard about anyone
importing them recently.

Chicken Zappers and Jawa the Huts. Ah, the good old days when mxers were
mxers and testicles were optional.

They still make CZ's, and I have heard news of a 'modern' CZ coming out of the
Czech Republic soon? I have a pen pal there, and everyone is still way into
MX and can't wait for this new bike, supposedly?
