Great idea ! kill the dealers ! But, remember, when the dealers are
all dead, there will be:

No one to organize trail rides or MX teams;

No one to pass on the "hot setups" or show you pictures of next years
bikes

No one you can call at home on a saturday night and meet you at the
races the next day with the part you need

No one to convince your wife you "need" that new bike !

No one to help you sell your old bike

No one to bench race with in the middle of winter

No one to put tires on your bike (aaarrrrrghhh)

Am I making my point ?

The problem that most of you have is that you ride japanese bikes and
buy from "street oriented" dealers- they stink !!!! and, they do rip
poeple off, because the street bike business has become a mirror of the
streetbike riders, shallow and concieted.

Buy a Euro bike and get to know the dealer, who is typically an
enthusiast and will take care of you- he will set you back more than mail
order but this is how he makes his living- How many times does a 15 year
old walk into a dealership and say,... "I bought this part from Dennis
Kirk, can you tell me how to put it on ?"

Come to think of it, they don't.

Yeah, like they wouldn't try convince God himself to hand over 5 grand
for that spiffy new bike. Bwhaha.

Or help you out of a 20 percent profit margin on that used bike.

I do a pretty good job with my tire irons I got from Crapparal (man,
they are haveing a tough time fillin orders as of late. It's
infuriating).

Not really because then you go and backpeddle like this:

Hey Myers, haven't you noticed that no one is doing this stuff anymore.
Just lay off the Jap bashing, okay? (Just kidding, really. I am just
having fun. Don't get mad. Get ev... Oh, never mind)

82 GS 650? Indeed! XT 225, no way! TT 125, whoo boy! What was that
about street bikes?

I guess when other people make light hearted generalizations they ought
to get busted for it. When YOU do it, then its okay.

Yeah but when that Evil, stinky Japanese dealer tries to make a living
he's ripping you off in that typical superficial conceited manner. So
are you inferring that only Euro dealers are worthy of our hard earned
American cash?
