Where do I ride in Sydney?

I don't have a bike yet. I am still making that 'should I do it?'
decision.

My main concern is where do I ride around Sydney and secondly who do I
ride with? None of my friends have bikes.

I'm sure there must be clubs around Sydney. Where do I find them? Is
there anyone reading this who is a member of a club in Sydney? Were do
you ride? What type of rides do you go on?

There's Pacific Park out past Windsor where you can ride for $10/day. Or out
at Menai, along Heathcote Rd, huge riding area.

As far as clubs go, there's Hawkesbury District MCC or Oyster Bay District
MCC. Contact Motorcycling Australia for contact numbers. Those two clubs are
GREAT for Enduros, but there are others too, Lower Mountains, Northern
District and Manly, Central Coast Dirt Riders.

If you're licenced and rego'd, you could join the DSMRA (Dual Sport
Motorcycle Rider's Assoc. They have bush trail rides every so often.
Pick up a copy of Sidetrack magazine for info on how to join.

Other than that, I can't help you as I'm from Vic.

I live in Ballarat. We have 2 or 3 State Forests 5-1- mins away. I
can reccommend the High Country.. but you really need to know your way
around as you'd get lost pretty quick. I've just got back from there
where I separated my shoulder.. 5 mins into a 2 day ride.
