My brother keeps bugging me to race at this track through some kind of
winter series. Does anyone race there? Do they have a beginner open
class? We've ridden dirt bikes for over 20 years, but never have ridden an
"organized" race. I'm looking for any info and/or opinions.

Thanks in advance

YES there is an open beg. class excellent track, fun safe no big jumps holds
up really well in the wet weather .Track is all sand & mt. staint helens ash it
is really rotten to ride on if the track is dry wet the track is fun with tons
of traction . first race is oct. 16th its only 30 min. from the glen jackson
bridge. The people that run the track are first class and i still dont know
what possess these people to go out in the rotten rotten rotten rainy weather
to maintain a track and put on an excellent race for us. You'll need to buy a
motocross northwest card (25.00) or 1 day pass (10.00) I would recommend this
track for any beginer . Come on out your gaurenteed a great time, i'll be
there come and say HI

SORRY I didn't mean to imply that you are beginers, i mean its a great track
for someone to start racing motocross at. Pretty laid back, because of the
weather the classes aren't that large except for the opener alot of people show
up. They've been handing out free gloves for the opener(fox mudpaws) hope to
see you there.

Yes it is an excellent winter track. Lots of fun.
They have 2 types of racing there, MX and scrambles. MX is on every other
Sat, scrambles are the alternating Sundays.
They use the same track, only shorten it and cut out the doubles for the
scrambles.
Most jumps are tables, not big.
I think that the Sunday scrambles are probably more family fun oriented, but
I like both.

No offense taken. I'm not a beginning rider, but definitely a beginning
racer. My brother and I are going to try and run every race, if our bodies
can take it.
