Check out the "Ridge Riders" and the "Southern Idaho Desert Racers
Assoc."(SIDRA) Phone numbers should be in the local phone book.

Alright! Another Boise RMDer!!!!

The premier trail riding club is:

The Treasure Valley Trail Machine Assn. (TVTMA)
PO Box 140162
Boise ID 83714-0162

For a comp issue of the Trail Dust (newsletter) email: Teresa Clark,
mo...@micron.net

Give her your name and mailing address and tell her you are
interested in the club..It is usually mailed just prior to the general
meetings.

General membership meetings are the third monday of each month at the
State Fish and Game Bldg, in Boise at the corner of Walnut and Park
Blvd. which is right next to the MK Nature Center. Park in the back
and enter through the east entrance. Next meeting is 3/15

Membership is $20/yr for an individual or your whole family. For
membership info:

Gene Evans: eva...@micron.net

Board meetings are the second monday of each month at First American
Title 7311 Potomac (access from Denton St. off North Cole directly
across from the "Eat-A-Burger" near the Towne Square Mall. Park at
the rear of the building and enter through the rear entrance, then
downstairs. All members and newcomers are welcomed and encouraged to
attend the board meetings. Next meeting is 3/8.

Our next scheduled ride is our annual Chili Feed and Ride,
tentatively set for March 13 at Hemingway Butte. BYOAS (bring your own
Alka Seltzer)

A quick glance at the tentative schedule for 1999 shows about 20 trail
rides, five dual sport rides and five trail clearing work/fun rides.
Several of these will be weekend camping type rides. We even have one
which will be trail/dual sport/white water rafting/camping scheduled
for somewhere near Challis late in August.

We are working on a web site, stay tuned....

We had a great ride last weekend at Jack's Creek near Bruneau. A few
of us rode Grandview today, it was excellent! This is the best time of
the year to ride the desert.

My riding partners and I are always open to new riders, give me a call
at 362-8727. I live in SW Boise off S. Cole near Indian Lakes. If the
weather cooperates a buddy or two and I are riding somewhere in the
dez Monday (3/1). We are old and slow but like to act like we are
young and fast....
