Have just bought 2003 XR400 and find the seat height a little high (I
am 5'8" tall). Is there a quick and easy way of reducing seat height a
little - adjust rear suspension, trim saddle foam etc.?

You can get a little shorter seat height by loosening and sliding the
front forks up an inch or so. I have a 96 XR4 and have loved riding
it. Enjoy.
